Welti-Furrer has been operating storage spaces for fine art at the highest standards for many years.
After meticulous planning and with the involvment of security experts and insurers, in summer 2018 we opened one of the most modern fine art stoarge facilities in the world.
Inside our new, state-of-the-art fine art logistic infrastructure we fulfil all requirements for the storage of even the most delicate works of art and offer you:
- Climate-stable storage thanks to fluctuation-free control of temperature and humidity.
- A state-of-the-art alarm system with the highest level of security, with a direct connection to the police and permanent video surveillance. Our multi-layered access system with biometric controls completes the comprehensive security concept.
- All walls, doors and gates exhibit an extremely high level of fire resistance. A highly sensitive fire alarm system with a gas extinguishing mechanism for prompt fire suppression is installed in all rooms.
- Delivery takes place in house and is protected by a security gate.
- Oversized goods lifts and entrances enable the storage of works of all sizes.

- Lockable individual boxes from 3m² to 300 m².
- Museum-standard depot sliding system for free-standing storage of individual paintings.
- Special storerooms for oversized objects.
- Collection storage and high-bay racking.
- Simple and efficient smART-storage options for artists, collectors and galleries.
In addition we offer our clients a workshop for basic restoration and conservation work on site.
Empty crates and boxes can be stored separately and cost effectively.
In addition, we have all types of exhibition equipment at our disposal and a spacious packing station with a large selection of packing material.
Our in-house carpenter’s workshop makes climate-controlled boxes and other types of packaging to measure, in accordance with the individual needs of the artwork and the wishes of the owner.
